Reshad Feild Jamiyat 1973
Reshad Feild held a Jamiyat at Fiesta Hall, Plummer Park, in West Hollywood, back in 1973. He invited me to come. I told him I might or might not be able, and we left it at that. On the appointed date, I was able to go, so without bothering to change into anything decent, I ran out the door, into my car, and drove like mad the 85 miles from Crestline to Los Angeles in record time. In the meantime, Reshad, who had been the bass player for Dusty Springfield back in The Day, had just left a girlfriend at the London airport; I resembled her so much, he tried to kiss me hello, and that's what you're seeing in the photos!!!
